Salons

A small room,
a single question.

No stage. No panel. No audience. Everyone in the room is the expert.

What it is

A salon is a handful of people drawn around one live question. No one is appointed to do the knowing for the rest — the circle thinks aloud, together.

Why

We've grown fluent in one direction — the expert on the stage, the rest of us receiving. The salon is a return to horizontal company: the practice of saying our pieces, our questions, our frustrations, our notions of how to build better. Small rooms have redrawn the world before. We're remembering how.

What it feels like

The host has one task — to make each person feel their own worth before any topic enters. Once that's settled, disagreement turns generative instead of threatening. Ideas may travel onward; names and attribution stay behind. What's built in the room belongs to the room.

Salons are seeded, not franchised. If a question is alive where you are, host it — we'll help you hold the room.
